I’m Traven Stout, a New Orleans photographer with over a decade of experience photographing people, businesses, events, and the places that shape our city. Photography isn’t just what I do — it’s how I communicate. I believe strong images tell a story, connect people, and turn everyday moments into something meaningful.

My work spans commercial photography, business headshots, event and convention photography, industrial and maritime photography, weddings, portraits, and personal projects rooted in New Orleans culture. Whether I’m photographing a small business, a large-scale event, a working industrial site, or a personal portrait, my goal is always the same: to create images that feel honest, intentional, and true to the subject.

I studied photography at the University of New Orleans and graduated in 2015. Since then, I’ve worked professionally as a New Orleans photographer, collaborating with individuals, small businesses, and organizations throughout the city and the Gulf Coast region. I approach every project with curiosity, collaboration, and respect for the story being told — using photography to turn real life into images that resonate.
